The bag is large and holds a lot of goods. I used it for a 2.5 week trip overseas and loved the ability to keep clean clothes away from dirty; pockets to place gifts; the sturdy wheels and handle which took serious beatings by handlers; the rugged material and the unique rusty red color which makes the bag easy to ID in a crowd. Nice features also include the ability to tighten it up when more empty, or to let it out a bit to allow for added gear and clothing.

Is my first purchase from High Sierra and I must say I am very satisfied.

A great bag, beautiful color, made of strong good quality materials and cool design.

I am happy with my purchase but misunderstood the term ‘drop bottom’. I was expecting to be able to fold away the ‘drop’ area and only expand it as needed.

I got this bag specifically for a month long trip to the Pacific NW and then North to Alaska. I traveled by plane, train, ship, rental car, bus, hospitality van, subway, and even a three block walk in downtown Chicago. It took a little getting used to all the compartments but as time went by they each came in handy for different things, especially the waterproof one near the handle. When I got home and unpacked everything the bag was still in pristine condition, zippers still running smooth, cover not torn up (cleans easily), wheels still working really well. If you’re going on a trip and don’t want to pay for oversize baggage, BUY THIS BAG!
