This my second Built NY laptop case and it is perfect. I travel a lot and you don't have to take the computer out of this case for airport security screening. My other Built laptop case is about three years old and still looks new, as do the lunch bags we have, the wine bags, and the other items I have given friends as gifts.

Bought this for ASUS Eee PC 900 16G (8.9" Display, Intel Mobile CPU, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB Solid State Drive, Linux) Pearl White

It's a nice little sleeve, very well made and good looking.

I really like the bright colours!! My netbook fits nicely in it and leaves space for the zip to close comfortably. They packaged it very nicely and i like the cardboard they place in it to make it keep its shape.

I absolutely love Built NY products. My laptop sleeve from my last computer is from them, and I love it to death. I wish I could find that patter in the 7"-10" size range.

At any rate, I must admit to being slightly disappointed in my purchase of this one for two reasons. First, my monitor must be configured slightly off from the vendor's, because the background color of this sleeve looked black. I wasn't expecting purple, and though it's all right, purple's not really my color.

The second thing is a little more disappointing. I could live with the color thing. But the zipper on my laptop sleeve catches and gets stuck very easily, and I haven't even had the thing out of the box for 5 minutes. I'll give it a couple days to see if it just needs a chance to loosen up, but if it doesn't, I might have to switch. Maybe I'll try the solid black version of this sleeve.

I was nervous about this fitting my Samsung NC-10 netbook but it stretches to cover it nicely. It's a trifle snug, but not at all difficult to put on or take off. And it doesn't add to the overall dimensions of the netbook much at all, which is fantastic for fitting it in my purse.

I also like that it opens at the narrow end - this makes the netbook much easier to handle when pulling it in/out of the sleeve. I have seen a friend struggle with fitting their NC10 into a sleeve that opens on the wide end.

Overall very happy!
