If you like cheese you’ll wonder why you bought this book. The format really gets in the way of taking this book seriously. The style is too unprofessional.

unfortunately Mims insists on showing current as “electron flow” from negative to positive, instead of the traditional positive to negative. He explains his reasoning (and yes, he is technically correct), but it sometimes makes his diagrams confusing compared with other electronics books.

liked mims terse style and explanations.
HATED HATED HATED the hand lettering.
I could have read (and reread) the book in a fraction of the time if it had been typed (especially upper and lower case in a font with sarifs). Would love to get a new edition with this change.
