My daughter has a Linksys router that works fine so I purchased this one hoping it would work for me. Setup was confusing, I was not able to get WEP to work properly (you have to type in the code manually on your other wireless computers – what a hassle), plus it has poor range. Perhaps I just got a lemon since it was a rebuilt one, but then again, perhaps not. I’m sure glad Amazon has such a wonderful return policy. If you get one of these, keep the box and all the material so you can return it easily.

I bought a refurbished one, better than new, when you want to use iphone with this, the password is not the password we enter in the linksys, it is the other one which you can find when you set up in linksys easy link, figure it out yourself, I forgot now. I spent a little time to find that one, but works fine now.

My old wireless g router was getting flakey, so I got this one – very reasonable price, fast delivery, altogether a good purchase. Setup was easy, and both laptops downloaded much faster. In my experience, refurbished is often better than new. And most problems show up in the first 30 days with electronics, so a ninety day warranty is plenty. Interesting to see Cisco starting to brand linksys products with the Cisco emblem.
